    Allergic rhinitis is a type I allergic disease mediated by IgE that occurs in the nasal mucosa. It is mainly characterized by nasal itching, sneezing, hypersensitivity, and swelling of the nasal mucosa. It is a common and frequently occurring disease in clinical practice. Previous literature on modeling allergic rhinitis has mainly focused on rodents, including guinea pigs, rats, mice, etc. Ovalbumin (OVA) is the most commonly used allergen.

    Observation indicators


    Nasal symptom score: Based on the severity, frequency, and duration of nasal itching, sneezing, and runny nose, the scoring criteria are used. In the model of allergic rhinitis, the secretion of IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, and IL-13 is increased, and the production of IFN - γ is inhibited.
